Account and Data Deletion — IACS Academy & Better Dog

Requesting deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your IACS Academy or Better Dog account and the personal information associated with it. This applies to accounts created on our websites, on our online learning platforms and in the IACS Academy mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Confirming account ownership. Before we delete an account, we may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder. We will contact you if this is needed, and will only ask for the information necessary.

What deletion removes

Deleting an account is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes the personal information we hold about you, including where applicable your:

Account details and contact information
Your enrolment history, learning progress and certificates

It also means you may lose access to your account and any courses or course materials tied to it. Certain transaction or accounting records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them; those records are retained only for that purpose.

Subscription cancellation and account deletion. Cancelling a subscription ends future billing but keeps your account, progress and purchase history. Deleting an account removes your personal information and access. If you only want to stop billing, cancel the subscription instead — you can request deletion separately at any time.
